I’m a mother to three (adorable) kiddos. Wife to a wonderful and supportive husband. Spontaneous yet I do much better with structure. Social worker and social justice idealist. Christ-follower. God-seeker. Messy housekeeper and resourceful crafter.
I started this blog to share my story. For a long time, I didn’t think it was worth sharing because so many others have shared theirs already. Not to mention it’s messy. I overthink and underthink. I try too hard and not hard enough. I’m lazy and over driven. I change my mind. I ask wrong question. Through this though, I’ve been so encouraged by others’ experiences and how they have grown and what they are learning through their journeys that I’ve decided to blog about mine. I love writing so this will be a place for me to sort through, process, and walk through my journey in faith, mothering, and all things social work. I truly hope that through this you will find companionship and encouragement, healing and courage for your journey.
I have my Master’s in Social Work. I’ve worked in domestic violence and children’s protective services for the majority of my career. Currently, I am loving being a stay-at-home mom. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
